At APPI Hotels, our staff and facilities will sincerely work on “hygienic management” and “avoid the three Cs” so that our customers will have comfortable hotel stay.
In addition, we will further evolve the quality of conventional services to respond to the new era of antivirus measures, and provide hotel quality in the new era.
Hygiene management and avoidance of three Cs
In order to prevent the spread of COVID-19, we are taking the following measures with the health and safety of our customers and employees first. We kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation.
Hotels and facilities
- Alcohol for disinfection is installing at the hotel entrance, public areas, restaurants, and other facilities.
- The public space in the building is regularly ventilated.
1. About entering the hotel

We will measure the body temperature at the time of hotel entry.
Customers who have a fever of 37.5 °C or higher and those who are not feeling well will not be allowed. * 37.5 ° C standard is based on government guidelines. -
Please wear a mask when entering the hotel.
If you do not have a mask, please purchase at the reception (100 yen) and wear it. - Each facility in the building will be ventilated regularly.
- When entering the building, please disinfect your hands with the disinfectant alcohol provided at the entrance.
2. Accommodation check-in / check-out

- The hotel reception is equipped with a transparent acrylic board to prevent droplet infection.

We carry out a questionnaire regarding physical condition at check-in.
We do not accept accommodation for people who are not feeling well (symptoms of suspected infectious diseases such as fever, cough, abdominal pain and diarrhoea). - Please keep the distance when it is crowded at check-in or check-out.
3. About the use of public space

Please wear a mask at public space (including restaurants).
If you do not have a mask, you can buy it at the front desk or shop, so please purchase and wear it. - Disinfection alcohol is installed in public spaces such as the hotel entrance and in front of the banquet hall.
- Disinfection alcohol and paper towels are set in the wash basin of the restroom.
About the use of the elevator
- Hand sanitizer is set in front of the elevator on the 1st and 2nd floors of the hotel.
- Please wear a mask and disinfect your hands with the disinfectant alcohol when using the elevator.
- Please refrain from using the elevator when it is crowded and keep a certain distance from other guests.
- After touching the elevator button, please wash your hands and disinfect with alcohol.
- Please do not lean against the wall.
About the use of restaurants (including cafe and bars)
- We carry out sterilization of tables and chairs with alcohol before opening time and after customers use them.
- Inside the restaurant is regularly ventilated.
- Before the restaurant open and regularly, we carry out sterilization of the entrance door,cashier counter and so on.
- When entering the restaurant, please wear a mask and disinfect your hands with the disinfectant alcohol provided at the entrance.
- Table sets,for soy sauce, salt, toothpicks, etc., are not put on the table. If you would like to use them, please ask the staff.
At a buffet restaurant
- Please be sure to wear a mask when you enter the restaurant and take food to prevent droplet infection.
- We will provide you vinyl gloves with you at the entrance. Please be sure to wear them when you take food.
- Before the store opens and regularly, we carry out sterilization and disinfection with alcohol such as entrance doors and cashier counters.
- The tongs will be replaced regularly.
- We may restrict entry to the restaurant to alleviate congestion.
About the use of the public bath
- Alcohol for disinfection and tissue paper are set at the dressing room, wash basin, and restroom.
- Before and after using the hair dryer, please cooperate in disinfecting it with alcohol by yourself.
- Baskets in the dressing room are put with certain space.
- Please disinfect your hands with the disinfectant alcohol provided at the entrance.
About the use of the shop
- Before the store opens and regularly, we carry out sterilization and disinfection with alcohol the parts customers touch directly.
- Please wear a mask and disinfect your hands with the disinfectant alcohol provided at the entrance.
- When lining up at the cash register, please keep a certain distance with other guests.
About the use of ANA Crowne Plaza Resort Appi Kogen Sports Club “Olympia”
- Alcohol for disinfection and tissue paper are available in the locker room and wash basin in the changing room.
- Machine gyms and table tennis are sterilized with alcohol before the facility opens and after customers use it.
- Before the facility opens and regularly, we carry out sterilization and disinfection with alcohol of each door.
- Please wear a mask and disinfect your hands with the disinfectant alcohol provided at the entrance.
About the use of spa / massage
- The practitioner wears a mask and disinfects the hands with alcohol.
- Before the facility opens and after customers used it, we carry out sterilization and disinfection of the bed for treatment with alcohol.
- Please wear a mask and disinfect your hands with the disinfectant alcohol provided at the entrance.
- Please wear a mask during the treatment.
About cleanign of public space and disinfection with alcohol in the guest room
- We regularly carry out disinfection with alcohol in areas that are frequently touched by customers, such as elevator buttons on each floor, lobby tables / chairs, vending machine buttons, cash dispenser, front counters and equipment on the counters, luggage carts, restrooms in public spaces (restroom stall door knobs, toilet seats, washbasin taps, etc.)
- For large public baths, we regularly carry out disinfection with alcohol the parts that are frequently touched by customers at the time of cleaning , such as wash basin and equipment in the bath, baskets in the dressing room, lockers, restrooms (doorknobs, toilet seats, etc.) and others.
- Regarding guest rooms, we carry out sterilization and disinfection with alcohol on parts that are frequently touched by customers, such as doorknobs, various switches, remote controls, and equipments.
4. About the use of Appi Onsen Shirakaba no Yu

- Regardless of day trip or staying at the hotel, we will measure the body temperature at the time of admission. Customers who have a fever of 37.5 ℃ or higher and those who are not feeling well will not be admitted. * 37.5 ℃ standard is based on government guidelines.
- Please wear a mask in the lobby when you enter.
- Please disinfect your hands with the disinfectant alcohol provided at the entrance.
- For those who use it on a day trip, we will conduct a health questionnaire at the reception. Those who are not feeling well (symptoms such as coughing, sneezing, fever, abdominal pain, diarrhoea, etc.) are not allowed to use the facility.
- Before opening, we carry out sterilization and disinfection with alcohol such as shoe box handles, reception counters, dressing room lockers, restroom entrance handles and toilets, large baths and open-air bath entrances.
- The massage machine installed in the lobby is sterilized with alcohol before opening and regularly.
- Before open and regularly, the doors of the large baths and open-air baths are sterilized with alcohol.
- We will limit the number of people who can use the sauna (up to 6 people for each time).
- Alcohol and tissues for disinfection are available in the washroom, locker, and restroom. Before and after using a hair dryer, locker, etc., please cooperate in disinfecting with alcohol by yourself.
- Please use the lockers with a certain distance.
- Please use the washing area with a certain distance.
5. About shuttle buses and shuttle cars

About the use of the shuttle bus
- As a general rule, crew members wear masks.
- Before the bus operation and after the customers get off, we clean the inside of the car and thoroughly disinfect it with alcohol.
- Alcohol for disinfection is installed at the bus entrance.
- We ask that you avoid the crowds as much as possible.
- We thoroughly measure the crews’ body temperature and check thier physical condition during roll call.
- From the viewpoint of safety and hygiene, we will refuse to sit behind and around the crew.
About the use of the shuttle car
- Please wear a mask during riding.
- When using the shuttle car, please disinfect your hands with alcohol in advance at the hotel entrance.
Request to customers

We will check customers’ body temperature at the boarding. Customers who have a fever of 37.5 ℃ or higher, or who are not feeling well, will not be allowed to board.
・ The standard of 37.5 ℃ is based on the government guidelines.
・ You cannot board the bus if you have a fever on the way back. In that case, you will have to return by other transportation at your own expense. Please understand this in advance. - When boarding, please wear a mask and disinfect your hands with the disinfectant alcohol provided at the entrance.
- Please be sure to wear a mask while riding.
- Please refrain from talking while riding.
- Please refrain from eating and drinking while riding (excluding hydration of water, tea, etc.).
- Please do not leave your rubbish on the bus.
Mental attitude of the staffs
- We will check the daily temperature measurement and physical condition management with the staff.
- We perform diligent disinfection and thorough handwashing.
- We will wear a mask when serving customers in the building.
- We may serve guests with wearing vinyl gloves at the restaurant.
- We will sterilize hand-held parts of shopping baskets and carts with alcohol.
