Can I use my credit card?

Yes.
We accept the following credit cards.

Can I use travellers’s cheque?

A

We don’t accept traveller’s cheque unfortunately.

Q

When should I pay for accommodation?

A

You are requested to pay at the time of check-in. Should there be anything charged to your room such as meals and drinks, you are requested to settle the bills at the time of check-out.

Do you apply cancellation fee if I cancel my reservation?

A

Yes. Our Cancellation Policy is as follows.

If you cancel 8 days prior, or earlier, to your arrival date, no cancellation fees will be applied.
If you cancel between 7 days and 2 days prior to your arrival date, 20% of accommodation fee will be charged.
If you cancel the day prior to your arrival date, 50% of accommodation fee will be charged.
If you cancel on the day of your arrival, 80% of accommodation fee will be charged.
In case of No-show, 100% of accommodation fee will be charged.

Can you arrange early check-in or late check-out?

A

Yes, but conditions apply.
Early Check-in:
Early check-in can be arranged only when your room can be ready by 7:00 am on the day of your arrival PROVIDED THAT you made a request on your early check-in in writing beforehand. Additional fee of 5,940 yen will be added to your hotel bill.
Should you wish to check-in earlier than standard check-in time, early check-in after 10:00 am may be possible at 2,732 yen only when your room is ready at the time you ask for early check-in.
 
Late Check-out: 
Late check-out can be arranged only when your room is not booked on the day of your departure. Additional fee is as follows.
Until 1 pm 3,564 yen
Until 2 pm 4,752 yen
Until 3 pm 5,940 yen
Until 4 pm 7,128 yen
Until 5 pm 11,880 yen
* One night room charge applied after 5:00 pm check-out.

Can I send my luggage to the hotel beforehand?

A

Yes.
We will keep your luggage at the delivery service counter. Please bring your copy of waybill to receive your luggage.
It would help us a lot if you could clearly write down the following information on the waybill.
1. The hotel name that you are going to stay
*If you are going to stay at either Appi Hills Shirakaba-no-mori 1 or 2 and your hotel is undecided, please send your luggage to Appi Hills Shirakaba-no-mori 2. For your information, your hotel will be fixed by 4 days prior to your arrival in most cases. You can make sure of your hotel by calling our Booking Centre at 0195-73-5010.

Shuttle service available at Appi-kogen station?

A

Yes.
Free shuttle bus service available at Appi-kogen station during the winter. For other seasons, please email us beforehand to arrange transportation on your arrival at Appi-kogen station.

Do you have room service?

A

No, meals are served at restaurants only.
*Reservation required basically except for buffet serving restaurant(s) and breakfast. Please call our Reservation Centre at 0195-73-5010 to let us know the time and number of people of your dinner.

Can I park my car at the hotel?

A

Yes.
There is a parking area at each hotel…no worries.

Are there any non-smoking rooms in Appi hotels?

A

Smoking in any rooms at APPI has been prohibited since September 1st, 2017.

Can I stay with my pet in the room?

A

Not in your room.
We have “Pet Room” in the Appi Kogen Onsen Hotel for your pet(s) to stay overnight. Please call our Reservation Centre to book a cage and a quarter for your pet(s). 0195-73-5010
Should you need to reserve a cage and quarter on the day or the day prior to your arrival, reservation must be made at the Appi Kogen Onsen front desk.

Package plans for winter season are sorted by room type. Pick one with your favourite room type when booking.

Where is the nearest convenience store?

A

LAWSON is just a 3-minute drive from APPI. It takes 30 to 40 minutes on foot for your information.

How far is the nearest hospital?

A

Depending on your injuries/symptoms, choice of hospital differs. It takes at least 20 to 30 minutes drive from Appi. Please contact the hotel front desk or ski information centre in case of urgency.

Where is the nearest hot spring?

A

The nearest hot spring is “Shirakaba-no-yu” in Appi Kogen Onsen hotel actually but the second nearest hot spring is 30 minutes drive from Appi.

Where is the nearest supermarket?

A

Approx. 30 minutes drive form Appi.

Any ATMs around the hotel?

A

There is one on the 1st floor in the Main Building, near the Shop “Cortina”.

Where is the nearest gas station?

A

Next to Hotel Appi Grand parking area is the gas station.
