Overwhelming large scale slope and superb snow quality.
The slopes that stretch over Mt. Maemori at an altitude of 1,304 m and Mt. Nishimori at an altitude of 1,328 m allow you to enjoy snow sports for a long time from early December to early May.
It is the comprehensive winter resort that will satisfy all skiers and snowboarders with variety of courses, such as for advanced courses, and tree run zones for experts, and “Yamabato Course” is a rare course layout in Japan even beginners can enjoy a long downhill 5.5 km from the summit of Mt.Maemori.

Appi Kogen Snow compacted course
Appi’s snow-compacted slope that can be refined by making full use of time and technology.
There is no stress from the snow surface, you can slide comfortably for a long time, and you will feel like you are one rank better. The exhilaration of the snow-compacted slope first in the morning is exceptional.
Non-compacted snow course
Due to its favourable location, Appi Kogen has the finest snowfall, which is as good as Hokkaido. Let’s enjoy the non-compacted snow course to the fullest.
Mogul practice lane
If you are new to bumps, we recommend this challenge. There is relatively no slope, and you can go off course immediately. Every year, from mid-January to the end of the season, you can enjoy it in the 3rd lift section of Otaka course.
About countermeasures against COVID-19 at Appi Kogen Ski Resort
Skiing and snowboarding that you can enjoy in nature are considered to be safe to enjoy as outdoor sports because of their good ventilation.
However, we will implement infection control measures based on the guidelines set by the government and related organizations for places where there is a possibility of becoming three Cs.
